Experiences and service
Lanta Sailing is a registered Thai company managed and owned by Captain Wyn Davies. Wyn has lived on Koh Lanta with his family for the last 9 years, has been sailing for more than 20 years and has worked with tourists since 1977. He has successfully completed the U.S. Coast Guard 100 ton Mater-mate course, and is a qualified PADI Divemaster. Over the years, he has clocked up an impressive amount of experience while pursuing his passions for the water, flying and sailing. He spent many years as a captain on day charters in the Virgin Islands and Fiji, and has been a Sea Plane Pilot for more than 26 years with over 10,000 hours logged. He is charming, charismatic and great fun to be around with many a story to tell. He is also discreet, personable, polite, friendly, and committed to ensuring your trip runs smoothly. For additional safety and peace of mind, we operate in full compliance to Coast Guard Safety Regulations and provide full insurance for all charters.
